100% Pure mascara with maracuja oil in Black Tea

I always admire women with long and full lashes. They can put just a little but mascara and they are good to go. I, on the other hand, have short straight lashes. What more could i wish for 😀 So i want my mascara to lenghten my lashes, make them more full and curl them (in the best case scenario) And also last all day of course 😉 My favourite mascara that does all of this is Volumising mascara by Green People, but tube of this dries kinda quickly.

Not that long ago, 100% Pure came with new maracuja mascara. Black shade is called Black tea, and yes, you guessed it, it has its black colour thanks to the leaves of black tea. Great, right? Thus mascara is full of natural extracts and has beautiful packaging. I ma always super excited when i order new goodies by this brand, they are so gorgeous!100% pure marakuja mascara maskara 100 percent pure

Ingredients (for shade Black tea)

It is always pleasure to read ingredient list on 100% Pure products. Many lovely ingredients in here! No hard to pronounce chemicals, so you don´t have to waste your time searching for their meanings. One ingredient that is kinda questionable is japanese honeysuckle, which molecular structure is similar to parabens.

Formulation of this mascara is enriched with maracuja oil, which hydrates and strenghtens your lashes. And of course is full of antioxidants. Love at first sight isn´t it ? 😉

100% pure marakuja oil mascara blush lipglaze 100 percent pureHow did i like it?

Well…it was not love at first use 😀 For a few first uses it did nothing for my lashes. Efect was not visible and i had to use three coats. But then i finally used my lash curler and voila! My lashes looked so much better! This mascara keeps them curled all day, gives them lenght and little bit of volume. Sometimes i can get away with as little as one coat. So don´t throw away your mascara even if it doesn´t work that well at first 😉100% pure marakuja mascara 100percent pure maskaraTo sum it up:

  • great ingredients
  • suitable for sensitive eyes
  • keeps your lashes curled (but use your lash curler first)
  • lenghtens
  • gives little bit of volume
  • doesn´t fall of
  • lasts all day (but it is not waterproof, doesn´t survive sweaty workout that well)

100% pure marakuja mascara maskara riasenka

This 100% Pure mascara has interesting smell. To me it smells like very sweet blackberry sirup. Some people described the smell like bad wine or olive oil 😀 But don´t worry, you won´t smell it after application. The tube is so beautiful! Gorgeous pinky – metal colour with small flowers. It looks and feels luxurious. Brush on this is ok, i am not super excited, but works well. The only issue i have with this brush is that is sometimes takes too much of a products, so you have to wipe it before use. Otherwise you with end up with clumpy lashes. Overall, i am quite happy with this maracuja mascara! I am happy i gave it a chance after initial disappointment.

  1. Great review! I agree, this Mascara does get better the longer the tube is opened. I still don’t feel that it does enough for my wimpy lashes to justify the price tag. Also, I find that this Mascara irritates my sensitive eyes by the end of the day. I do love the ingredient list, aside from the questionable Japanese Honeysuckle, like you mentioned! Some of my favorite natural mascaras are: Pacifica Stellar Gaze Mascara, Lily Lolo Mascara, and Root Cosmetics 100 Percent Lash Natural Mascara. With all three of these, I stopped using a lash curler because they keep my lashes curled all day! And not only do they add length, but they add plenty of volume, which is what I really need! ??

  2. I would love if 100% Pure came with more volumizing mascara. Green People does add volume and also curls my lashes, but as imentioned, the tube doesn´t last very long, although it is little bit cheaper than this one. Thanks for the tips, i will try some of them! 🙂
